Arrive at Paro International Airport
Arrive Paro International airport. Meet with our representative and drive for 1.5 hrs to Thimpu.
In the afternoon, Visit View Point to enjoy beautiful views of Thimpu town with its monastaries, pagodas and fort (Dzong). While returning, visit at Mini Takin Zoo to know a bit about this beautiful animal of mountains (Takin is also the national animal of Bhutan). Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast in your hotel, visit to Chorten Memorial which is constructed by the 13th King of Bhutan, visit Gran Buddha en Kuenselphodrang, National Library, Folk Heritage museum and National Textile Museum. In teh afternoon , visit Simtokha Dzong ( Dzong signifies The fort). Simtokha Dzong is one of the oldest fort of Bhutan constructed in 1629 AD by Shabdrung Ngawang, the founder of Bhutan . Also visit Tashicho dzong. Overnight at Hotel.
Thimpu - Punakha
After breakfast at hotel, Drive to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan ,with an en-route stop at Dochula Pass at 3050 meters above sea level to enjoy the beautiful views of Himalaya. The pass has 108 small stupas Arrive Punakaha and check-in at your hotel. Later visit Punakha Dzong constructed between two rivers. Overnight at hotel.
Punakha - Paro
After breakfast, Drive to Paro. After arrival and check-in at your hotel in Paro , visit Ta-Dzong which is also known as National Museum. Also visit Ringpung Dzong. Overnight at hotel.
After an early breakfast, Drive and have a small trek upto Taktsang Monastery aslo known as Tiger’s Eye. The monastery on a rock above 900 meters ( trek ) is the house of many Buddhist monks. It is believed that Guru Padma Sambhava (Re-incarnation of Buddha) climb upto the monastery like a tiger and stayed here for some time. After your return to hotel in afternoon, visit Drugyal Dzong, the fort 16 kms from Paro. Also visit Kyichu Lakhang. Overnight at hotel.
Paro - Home
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Paro International airport for flight to home via India or via Nepal.
