Description

Goa  with Panjim as its capital is a state in western India with coasts that stretch along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony before 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th century churches and tropical spices plantation in the area. Besides having cultural influence of Portuguese who ruled Goa for 450 years, Goa is famous all around the world for its beaches. Goa stands 6th in the Top 10 Nightlife cities in the world in National Geographic Travel.

From tourism point of view , Goa is majorly divided in two parts – North Goa and  South Goa. While North Goa offers crowded public beaches but more of cultural aspect with churches and convents of Portuguese period along with pubs and bars to make night life happening , South Goa is known for its tranquil beaches along the luxury hotels. Life in South Goa is bit on calm side and to enjoy the pristine sand beaches.
