Jeep Safari in Chitwan National Park is one of the options along with Elephant Safari to explore the the UNESCO World Heritage site of Chitwan National Park. An open jeep with-out hood and 4x4 wheel drive into the park gives an opportunity to cover long distances in search of various wild animals including one-horn rhinoceros and even Royal Bengal Tiger.

There are two options for a jeep safari in the jungle. A short jeep safari lasts for four hours while other option is a full day jeep safari. Early mornings and late evening short jeep safaris for four hours are our recommendations. As a jeep can cover bigger area of the park, this safari has higher chances to spot the wild animals.

Flow along with the Rapti river in a traditional ‘dug out canoe offers close look at the crocodiles and wild animals that come to drink water at the banks.

Small canoe, rowed by an experienced boatman, on the Rapt River in Chitwan National Park is another option of exploring the wildlife in the national park. Usually, a canoe ride of about 2 hours during the day is best option to encounter marshy gharials basking the sun. Canoe ride also offers an excellent opportunity to watch rare species of birds who nestled in the marshy wetland of Chitwan National Park.

Riding an elephant through the silent jungles of Chitwan National Park catching wildlife by surprise is one of the most enduring experiences in Nepal.

Encounter with wildlife up-close on an elephant safari not only gives a feeling of being a Maharaja or a king but also is the most enjoyable way to explore the national park. An elephant exclusively for you along with the experienced naturalist takes you deep into the dense forests and grassy plains where it is difficult for jeep to go, even crossing many waterways to spot an endangered one-horned rhinoceros.

Nepal is also home to indigenous tribe, Tharu who live in their villages near Chitwan National Park. Between the safaris or later in evening, visiting a Tharu home in a village is a unique experience as you get acquainted with rites & rituals, lifestyle & houses of them. Tharu tribe, by nature, is very welcoming and open to welcome people of other cultures.

For centuries, the Tharu tribe has lived very close to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate relationship with the natural world. Visit the Tharu village and share their world with them as you reach out to touch another culture. A walk in the village of traditional houses made of clay is the best option to have a closer look in the day to day life of this indigenous people.

Jhalana Leopard Safari, spread in a small area of around 23 sq. kms, in the coulurful city of Jaipur, offers an opportunity of spotting a leopard in a much tranquil zone. Spotting these shy cats in their natural space can be opted twice a day.

City Palace in Jaipur is a fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The palace continues to  be the home of the royal family of Jaipur and was constructed in 1727 by Maharajah Sawai Jai Singh II when he shifted his capital from Amer to Jaipur. The palace complex today has several buildings, courtyards and museum. Exquisite carpets, bright rajput weapons and delicate clothes, ornamented palanquins will remind you of the grandeur of this princely era of India. Royal family including present maharajah of Jaipur still live in one of the wings of this complex.

City Palace Museum is open to visitors from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on all days except on certain days due to holidays on Hindu Festivals of Holi & Diwali :

Albert Hall Museum, situated in Ram Niwas Gardens , outside the walled city of Jaipur, is a state museum. Constructed in Indi-Saracenic style of architecture and exclusive stone ornamentation, was opened to public in 1887. The museum gets its name from the Victoria and Albert Museum of London, because of the similarity in architecture.

The corridors of the museum showcase numerous mural paintings, Persian painting and others. The museum has a rich collection of artifacts including paintings, jewelry, carpets, ivory, stone, metal sculptures, and works in crystal. An Egyptian mummy is the main attraction of the museum.

Albert Hall Museum is open to visitors on all days from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM and again at night from 07:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The museum  building looks stunning at night due to its illumination using yellow light.
